Come back to the Fellowship Hall to get your fill of flapjacks on Sunday, May 22, courtesy of Pastor Chris and the LCC Youth Group crew! They'll be serving up mile high pancakes in an effort to raise funds to go to the Unite North Conference taking place this Summer! A group of LCC Youth will be taking part in this experience July 14-17 down at Bethel University! The Unite North Conference is going to be very similar to the past CHIC national event for high schoolers, but particular to the Northwest Conference region of the Covenant. It will include exciting speakers, worship, performers and lots of time for students to grow in their faith and experience God both individually and collectively. While the cost of registration covers housing and food, that does mean the cost per individual is high — $300. At the pancake breakfast, a freewill offering will be collected for anyone that wishes to alleviate the cost for those students planning on attending. If you have questions, or know a high school student that may want to attend Unite this summer, get in touch with Pastor Chris. The deadline for registration is JUNE 1 and can be found both online and on the Youth Cart outside the Youth Room. So, be in the Fellowship Hall after worship on May 22!
