The first two weeks of May, the Missions Ministry is eager to provide you an easy opportunity to love on those in our community facing an unplanned pregnancy or who find themselves in crisis. Beginning on May 2, we invite you to drop diapers — preferably in the smaller sizes — in the plastic, labeled tote(s) in the church entryway. Diapers can come in the form of completely new, unopened boxes, or — in the event you have some left over stragglers from a size your child outgrew — individual diapers can be put together in a closed bag. Another super easy way to participate is to click the link to our Amazon wishlist. Amazon Prime members can choose to purchase an item off this list (including diapers in various sizes/quantities) and have it shipped directly to LCC for donation. All you need to do is choose the church address when ordering— which will automatically be included in your options if using this link. Diapers collected from May 2 to May 15 will be taken to both the Lakes Life Care Center in Forest Lake and the Lex Specialty Clinic for Pregnancy and Sexual Health in East Bethel to pass on to those they assist. Diapers are a huge expense for families, so providing these is just one way we can help lift an already heavy burden.
