Water for the World Mission

***UPDATE***

Isatou will be traveling to Gambia on March 16th for about 3 weeks. As soon as she gets there, she is going to check into (2) well-drilling companies that have been recommended to her. She plans to go to some of the existing wells that these companies have dug and make sure they are still working efficiently, then she will decide which one will be the best for us to work with.

She will also be meeting with the mayor and elders of Bureng to find out where they are hoping to place the well within the Village. She hopes that they will start digging the well while she is there.

I know all of us at LCC are very excited about having this well dug. Isatou & Pateh are very excited and the village of Bureng is very, very excited to get fresh water for their people!! Let us Praise the Lord!

  • Manna Market

The Manna Market ministry continues throughout the summer on the second Thursday of each month. Come help distribute food to those in our community who come beginning at 5PM. • Feed My Starving Children

Our Feed My Starving Children ministry continues to go pack meals the second Tuesday of the month at 11AM during the Summer. A group meets at LCC to carpool. • Sewing Missions

We sew pillowcase dresses, shorts and bags for various mission groups. Summer garage sales are a great time for us to stock up on materials, so if you see any while out bargain hunting, feel free to purchase and donate. We are also always looking for those who can sew the items — kits come fully stocked with all you need. Contact Lori Ralph at 651-464-5177 for more details.

  • Homeless at First Covenant

Once a month we take a group down to First Covenant Church in Minneapolis to help serve meals. We also provide people with small toiletries and snacks that are easy to carry.
